Miss Woolliscroft

Head of PE, Trips, Events & Sports Leader

Miss Woolliscroft graduated from Staffordshire University with a BA Hons in Business in 2002. After a number of years working in banking and for the local government, she followed her passion in fitness and became a successful Personal Trainer. Wanting to bring the importance of health and fitness into schools, Miss Woolliscroft went back to Staffordshire University and completed her PGCE in Physical Education. Her first teaching placement was here at Walton Priory before moving onto Haywood Academy where she completed her training. Miss Woolliscroft secured her first teaching post at the Coop Academy of Stoke on Trent where she spent a year teaching PE and PSHE across KS3 and KS4.

Miss Woolliscroft’s specialism is Healthy Active Lifestyles with a keen interest in team sports and athletics; Miss Woolliscroft is very much looking forward to getting a buzz in the school for girls’ sports and getting the girls out to as many fixtures as possible. Some of the clubs she leads on throughout the year are netball, football, yoga and relaxation, rounders, athletics and boxing.

From January 2022 Miss Woolliscroft took on the additional role of TSEL where she coordinates events in school, and organises any trips, visits and residentials for both key stage 2 and 3.

Outside of school, she spends time with her daughter Sienna, family and friends. Her hobbies other than attending the gym and boxing are reading, eating out and shopping.
