Hi, I’m Miss Woolliscroft and have been at Walton Priory Middle School since 2019 where I have a number of responsibilities.
As the Head of Year 7, I am committed to ensuring that every student has a smooth and successful transition into KS3, supporting both their academic and personal growth. I work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to create an environment that is nurturing, positive, and conducive to learning, where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
In my role as Head of Physical Education, I am passionate about promoting physical health and well-being. Encouraging students to engage in sport and fitness is central to my philosophy, as I believe physical activity is key to building resilience, teamwork, and confidence in our young people.
In addition to my core responsibilities, I am also a First Aider and a Mental Health First Aider, which allow me to provide vital support to students and staff alike. Mental health and well-being are at the forefront of my approach, and I strive to create a culture of openness, understanding, and support within the school community.
Most recently, I have completed my National Professional Qualification for Leading Behaviour & Culture. This qualification has equipped me with a deeper understanding of how to foster positive behaviour, a strong school culture, and effective strategies for supporting both students and staff in their development.
I also lead on organising and coordinating trips, visits, and events that enrich the student experience. I believe these opportunities are crucial in broadening students’ perspectives, encouraging their personal growth, and providing memorable, real-world learning experiences.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, with travel being a key passion of mine. Whether it’s exploring new places or experiencing different cultures, I love discovering the world. My hobbies include attending the gym, boxing, reading, eating out and shopping. And of course, I can’t forget about my Cavapoo, Olive, who is a big ball of fluff and always keeps me smiling with her playful energy, love and affection.
Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or out on a school trip, my goal is always to inspire, motivate, and support our students in becoming confident, resilient, and well-rounded individuals ready to take on the future.
