Mrs Dudley

Science Teacher

Mrs Dudley has worked in education for fourteen years, teaching science across key stages two, three and four. She has taught mainly in middle schools and has experience of teaching a range of subjects, including STEM, Forest School, ICT, RE and PSHE. Mrs Dudley is a very enthusiastic teacher willing to try alternative teaching and learning styles to improve pupils’ performance, engagement and motivation. She aims to include short, hands-on activities in almost all her lessons in order to meet the needs of all learners. Mrs Dudley also runs an extra-curricular STEAM club after school and organises outside learning opportunities, such as KS3 Glider Challenge at RAF Cosford and The Salters Chemistry Festival. Over recent years STEAM club success has included winning a national competition, the BP Ultimate STEAM Challenge, with their waterwheel project and winning £10,000 for the School with a boat controlled by artificial intelligence ridding the world’s oceans of plastic.

Her hobbies include running, craft activities (such as quilting and crochet) and baking some rather yummy chocolate orange brownies, among other things.

Level 3 accredited Forest School Leader.
