Head of Art & Technology
I hold an Industrial Design degree from the University of Wolverhampton and have over 20 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in computer-aided design, manufacturing, and product branding.
As a long-standing member of the Walton Priory staff, I teach STEM, Design Technology, and ICT. I have been proud to lead the rebranding and refurbishment of the Design Technology department, giving it a modern look and feel that reflects cutting-edge industry practices. My goal is to ensure the department remains innovative and inspiring for all students.
I like to think of myself as a larger-than-life character, bringing humour and energy to my lessons. I aim to create a vibrant and engaging learning environment that motivates and excites my pupils.
Outside of the classroom, I have a love-hate relationship with my semi-restored Volkswagen Camper van, which constantly challenges my mechanical skills and patience. I enjoy fixing and creating things, finding joy in hands-on problem-solving. I’m also an avid backpacker and have explored incredible destinations, including India, Thailand, Indonesia, Canada, and many more.
I am a proud father and actively support my children in their pursuits. I support my son with his football coaching company and my other son as he progresses through a sports journalism degree, sharing in their successes and passions.
