Head of Computing/KS2 Teacher

Hi! I’m Mr Davies, and I’m the Head of Computing here at Walton Priory. I’ve been teaching for over a decade, and I’m really fortunate to be here teaching Computing and Music. I have experience in both teaching and leading subjects across Key Stages 1-3, and I’m passionate about giving children the opportunity to effectively and safely use technology to assist in their studies and wider lives. I am currently working towards my NPQ for Senior Leadership.

Having previously worked in Careers and Employment (within the IT and Video Games sectors), it is great to be able to utilise my skills and experience by offering our children advice, opportunities, and knowledge about potential future careers in these sectors.

I also have a strong working knowledge of the music industry as, outside of school, I am a keen. trumpeter and play with a variety of Northern Soul, Funk, Disco, and traditional big bands—one of which recently reached the No.1 spot in the iTunes R&B and Soul chart!
