Mr McNaught grew up on a farm in Chester and worked as an Agricultural Mechanic for the Duke of Westminster Estates for 10 years while gaining qualifications in Agricultural, Countryside and Environmental Management at Reaseheath College.

He went on to become an Environmental Scientist working on landfills around the country carrying out surface emission monitoring and sampling, making sure government guidelines were followed.

He moved to Stone in 2002 and became an instructor in Agriculture and land management at Reaseheath College alongside becoming head of maintenance on their equine unit helping over see a 5 million pound investment in there new equine unit.

In 2004 Mr McNaught attended Salford University gaining Advanced Surveyor BPCA Level 2 and RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management going on to work in Environmental Control for over 10 years.

In 2018 Mr McNaught started Working at Walton Priory as the Health and Safety Supervisor and Site Supervisor.

In his spare time he enjoys clay pigeon shooting, Countryside walks and gaming. He is a Volunteer for Scouts and for the past 5 years he’s held a 24hr gaming event with friends and enthusiastic gamers raising funds for Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK a charity close to his heart as his son was diagnosed with PWS in 2014. He has also taken part in a Makaton course to further his communication skills.
