Mrs Taylor-Potts

Mrs Taylor-Potts is in her third year of headship at Walton Priory. Before this she was Deputy Head with responsibilities in teaching and learning, standards and assessment.

Before joining the school Mrs Taylor-Potts worked at the Local Authority as a School Improvement Partner and latterly as Head of School Improvement for Entrust. Her teaching career was in secondary schools in south London and Staffordshire where she taught History up to ‘A’ level. She was also a PGCE tutor at Keele University and gained a Master’s degree in school improvement from there. Away from work Mrs Taylor-Potts enjoys exercise classes as well as trying to train her cocker spaniel dog. She also likes following her tall husband up hills in the Lake District, where they married in 2017.

Mrs Taylor-Potts has recently completed her Level 2 multi-agency safeguarding training.
